As wedding photographers and best friends, we’ve spent years capturing “I dos” across Indianapolis and beyond—and honestly, we still pinch ourselves that this is our job. Every wedding day feels different because every couple brings their own kind of magic, but one thing we know for sure: the right venue makes everything fall into place.
From industrial charm to countryside romance, Indy and its surrounding towns have no shortage of stunning places to celebrate. We’re sharing a few of our favorite local wedding venues that not only photograph beautifully but also come with incredible staff, thoughtful details, and those little touches that make a wedding day flow seamlessly.
(And don’t worry—we’re including photos from real weddings at each venue so you can see why we love them so much!)
May We Present (in no particular order):
🏆 Our Absolute Favorite Indianapolis Area Wedding Venues 🏆
✨ The Crystal Coop | Anderson, IN
There’s something so refreshing about The Crystal Coop—it’s where modern farmhouse meets effortless charm. With tons of natural light, multiple indoor/outdoor options for all weather types (hello enclosed porch for cold Indiana days!) and layouts that keep everyone connected, it’s a dream for both couples and photographers. The owners and staff here are absolute gems—always a step ahead, keeping everything calm and cheerful. We love how flexible the space is; whether you’re planning an intimate gathering or a big celebration, it just works. Bonus: that bridal suite and Tiffany blue barn doors always has us at hello.
🖤 INDUSTRY 828 | Downtown Indianapolis
If you’re dreaming of an industrial-chic vibe, Industry 828 nails it. It's one of our long-standing favorite Indiana wedding venues, and we think you'll see why: Exposed brick, steel beams, tall windows—it’s moody, modern, and full of character. We love how couples make this space their own with creative florals, unique ceremony layouts and elegant tablescapes.
The venue team here is top-notch. They treat every wedding like it’s the only one on the calendar, which makes everything feel smooth and stress-free. Plus, being right in the heart of Indy means endless photo ops nearby—think skyline views, murals, and city lights (and a photobomb by Lucas Oil Statium from the parking lot!).
🕊 The Mill Top | Noblesville, IN
The Mill Top is pure storybook romance. Between the exposed brick, wood beams, vintage chandeliers, and wrought iron deails, this historic space feels both grand and cozy. And just LOOK at those stairs!!! It’s one of those venues that looks incredible in every season—and the staff here are always working behind the scenes to make wedding days seamless.
We especially love their super spacious bride and groom suites--they're filled with details like vintage couches, tons of mirrors and natural light for the ladies, and with pool tables and gaming setups for the dudes. If you do it right, couples can get access to the rooftop of the venue for some quiet moments alone with stunning views.
💍 Bradley Hall | Greenfield, IN
If timeless elegance is your love language, Bradley Hall will steal your heart. This venue has it all: a ballroom with stained glass windows, arched ceilings, and a charming small-town downtown location that’s perfect for outdoor urban photos.
It’s an intimate space that feels both grand and welcoming — full of classic beauty and the kind of light that makes every moment glow. Bradley Hall photographs like a dream from every angle.
And truly, it’s the kind of place where every wedding feels like it’s happening among friends — warm, inviting, and full of heart.
🥃 West Fork Whiskey Co. | Westfield, IN
Modern, moody, and effortlessly cool—West Fork Whiskey is perfect for couples who want something unique. The whiskey-barrel backdrops and sleek architecture make it a photographer’s playground. And the cocktails? As good as they look. Stop over for food and drinks sometime and check it out!
🪩 Hotel Nickel Plate | Fishers, IN
A newer gem in the Indy wedding scene! Hotel Nickel Plate combines boutique luxury with a trendy, welcoming vibe. The spaces are fresh and fun, and perfect for elegant celebrations. It’s also a fully functioning hotel—meaning your guests can stay right on-site. We mean it when we say that the staff here are truly above and beyond; they take such great care of couples and vendors alike. Another place you can easily scout -- head to their bar/restaurant, Derailed.
🚃 Kennedy Estate | Lizton, IN
Not just any old barn venue! With wide-open fields (complete with a ferris wheel and train car!), perfect string lights, and a cedar barn that opens up to a stunning porch--weddings here feel totally unique. Kennedy Estate is ideal for couples who want that laid-back, country feel with classy, polished touches right here in good ole Indiana.
